Need help deciding what patio furniture is right for you?  Read this article and it just might help clear your thoughts about what to buy…

1. Choose a centerpiece and work your design around it. A beautiful table and umbrella set will define your patio and everything that surrounds it.

2.Accentuate your centerpiece with elaborate accessories. Unless simple is the name of your game, then be sure to go big here. Statues make a big statement and fountains can be a stylish accent to any patio. Just don’t be the guy or gal who buys the fountain from Target’s garden center. Search long and hard for unique pieces that stand-out and are uniquely you.

3. Avoid the conventional. Try new things and be sure to have all your neighbors begging to come over for seconds.  Modern patio furniture is all the rage.  But, if your house doesn’t have an overall modern theme it is ill-advised you pick modern patio furniture.  Like I said, avoid the conventional but keep a solid theme throughout!

4. Don’t oversell your patio. What I’m trying to say is if you live in a townhouse buy furniture accordingly. This doesn’t mean you can’t have a unique and fresh patio it just means try not to overcrowd the already crowded area.

5. Last but not least, bring your patio to life. Remember this, your furniture is only as good as the outdoor life that surrounds it. So do yourself a favor and bring your patio to life!
